The iconic, stylish and sought after Freeman 27 was built with comfort in mind, and Rum Runner, with her 1.8 BMC inboard engine, is no exception. Perfect for rivers and estuaries she is an ideal vessel for family holidays, trips and getaways.
There is seating for 6 in the spacious cockpit including helm and navigator's seats – suitable for hosting friends and family. A ladder from the stern leads to the water for wild swimming on hot summer days.
The helm contains wheel, throttle, and all the gauges and dials needed for navigation, whilst the console in the navigator's position has space to keep maps and charts.
The engine and engine bay is immaculately clean and a testament to how well this boat has been cared for by her current owner who has also fitted new Flotex wood effect flooring to the cockpit
Stepping down into the light and airy main cabin, the dinette is to port with seating for 4 that converts into a double bed. She still maintains her original upholstery underneath the seat coverings for that on-trend vintage look.
The galley is located to starboard and comprises electric Isotherm fridge, Spinflo Nelson gas cooker with oven, grill and twin hob, and stainless steel sink with hot and cold taps.
Moving further forwards, there is a storage locker to port, and the head to starboard which contains pump out toilet, basin and electric shower.
2 V-berths in the forward cabin as well as access to a hatch that leads to the top deck.
Heating is provided via an Eberspacher oil fired warm air heater. Rum Runner has 2 x domestic batteries and 1 starter battery which are kept topped up by solar panels. She was fully rewired a year ago and has new windscreen wipers and motors. Her canopy was made and fitted by Titan Boat Canopies, and she also has a full winter cover.
She has a valid BSS certificate that is valid until April 2030 and is ready to cruise.
