Fantastic opportunity to own a boat which belies its age. For a 30 year old boat this vessel must surely have been treated with kid gloves all its life. The present owners bought this boat after looking for the best they could find for over two years and have cherished it since. They have had some additional features installed with no expense spared. Improvements such as bow and stern thrusters, Sony Bluetooth audio system, Telco Flat self-searching satellite dish and top of the range Sky HD Box with hidden pop up flat screen TV and sound bar are examples.

The design of this cruiser is such that the forward deck levels swoops down to a lower level at the stern allowing ease of access from banks and pontoons making the door at the stern the natural way to access this vessel. The stern well has gas and storage locker space and a small amount of seating with the aluminium framed door giving access to the first of the bedrooms.

To port is a large comfortable double bed with fully sprung mattress. Immediately to starboard is a full length hanging wardrobe with top shelf. Next to this is the ensuite bathroom comprising electric pump-out toilet, wash hand basin and shower.

Moving forward brings us to the spacious galley which encompasses the full width of the boat. Port side is large sink and drainer with lots of cupboard space and to starboard is a full sized cooker comprising four burner gas hob, grill and oven, fitted microwave and once again, plenty of cupboard space. In addition to the ceiling lights, there are also under cupboard and pelmet lights which are excellent in the evening. This galley would not look out of place in a small modern apartment.

Two steps up take you into the main saloon. Immediately to port is a refrigerator and teak cupboard units which also house the hidden pop-up flat screen Samsung TV and sound bar. Two cream leather swivel Stressless recliners and footstools to starboard replace the L-shaped seating, some of which has been removed and put into storage (just in case the new owner would like to reinstate it). This boat is currently set up for the comfort of two people but could easily accommodate six or more. Also in the main saloon is a large helm seat overlooking a plethora of dials, switches and knobs enabling full control of this vessel. From bow and stern thrusters, wipers, blowers, pumps temperature gauges, reversing camera screen, landing lights, rudder position unit as well as forward thruster it would be easy to think you had happened upon an early form of the Starship Enterprise. Unfortunately any Warp Factor speed is restricted on the Thames, so the original Matter - Antimatter Propulsion Unit has been replaced with a 42hp Nanni diesel engine driving a shaft with traditional propeller propulsion. Whilst in the engine bay (under main saloon floor), I must point out that this is also the location of the bank of batteries (4 domestic, 1 for the engine, and 1 for each of the bow and stern thrusters), battery charger, 2.2KW Inverter, domestic electric unit, 2 tubular electric heaters that work off shore power to prevent the engine freezing in winter, fire extinguisher, and a number of easy access filters. It goes without saying that the engine compartment is as immaculate as the rest of this desirable craft.

The whole of the saloon is covered by an electrically or manually operated sliding roof for alfresco cruising or dining.

Moving forward down a couple of steps brings you to, on starboard, a compact cabin containing a single berth with the option of an additional single bunk above it (currently in storage and available for the new owners). This cabin also contains a full length hanging wardrobe and shelves.

Across the companionway, on port side, is the second toilet and shower compartment comprising an electric flushing toilet, wash hand basin, shower and mirror.

The separate forward cabin contains 2 full length single berths with shelving alongside and drawers beneath.

Ivory Gem is fitted with a new 8 amp solar panel that charges all of the onboard batteries, and she also has the latest 5kw Webasto warm fan blown air heating which is thermostatically controlled. There are blue LED courtesy lighting on all the steps throughout the boat.

This smart, spacious cruiser comes complete with manuals for nearly everything, as well as a valid Boat Safety Scheme certificate, all necessary deck fittings and navigation aides, and mooring accoutrements.
